Well first off, I misread what you wrote and thought you were wanting to change the default timekeeping program. After re-reading it, I see you would just like to have it packaged for you and others that might need it. My mistake and I apologize.
There actually is an htp package in ubuntu, but it has nothing to do with time. I am surprised with how thorough you are that you didn't notice. rmadison htp htp | 1.15-3 | dapper/universe | source, amd64, i386, powerpc htp | 1.15-3 | gutsy/universe | source, amd64, i386, powerpc htp | 1.16-2 | hardy/universe | source, amd64, i386 htp | 1.16-2 | intrepid/universe | source, amd64, i386 htp | 1.16-2 | jaunty/universe | source, amd64, i386 http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/allpackages reveals: htp (1.16-2) [universe] An HTML pre-processor So I guess htpdate would be a better name. i will confirm that this is a valid packaging request. Hopefully your request will be filled. In the future try to bear in mind that if one of your requests is marked invalid, it can easily be updated to a different status. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- htp package request as alternative to ntpdate and rdate clients https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/317294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
