Every time I move the cursor over ANYTHING in the GUI, it turns black and never goes back. I cannot use ubuntu unless it is in the failsafe terminal session.
This is a little different, but I got this problem after I installed advanced desktop effects. I have tried changing every setting in the ccsm command window.
