Since in Jaunty alpha2 the manual partitioner is broken, i installed
Kubuntu 8.10, ugraded it and then did sudo do-release-upgrade -d.
Plasmoids on the desktop don't draw their borders/windows. The Desktop
View plasmoid only shows its border (but no darkened backgorund or
whatever) and the Notes plasmoid does not show its yellow background,
resulting in text hovering over the desktop background.
