Thomas drop kcm_knetworkconfmodule not solution because networkmanager 0.7 not do that configuration what did kcm_knetworkconfmodule at all! Tray boot lvl3 terminal (no KDE) and you see network not working. That means network starting work only if KDE is running. That result is not what Kubuntu-Ubuntu wants i hope or what?
