What is the use of Kubuntu without netwok ? Any attempt to set a fixed Ip or wap passphrase brokes connection for ever. This CRITICAL bug is still here months after. Go to WICD as a working replacement for Knetwork manager. (the gnome manager is working but loose his configuration, boring.) (several installs, intrepid)
