** Description changed: Binary package hint: nvidia-settings Hello Alberto, I apreciate your deep dedication in this project. I'm a new linux user, but trying to be intense. I find your forums and documents trying to solve my display resolution. Made the 96.43.09 improvement and everything was successful, but, after the setup, when I restart the system, my screen turn instable, when I move the mouse everything goes messy. Sounds to be a video crash memory, as used to happen when I worked with heavy graphics programs in microsoft windows. It's impossible to read and configure many windows, as the nvidia-settings in graphic mode. The system goes down and restart every time. I don't have time to work on yet, I think tomorrow I will try edit the xorg.config and give you a better report. I do have a Geforce2 MX on a Asus Nvidia chipset motherboard, with a generic 17" CRT monitor.
