** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: xorg

When connecting my laptop to my Asus MK241H display, it sets a strange
resolution/refresh rate by default. The expected resolution is
1920x1...@60hz, but my monitor reports 1600x1...@62hz resulting in a
stretched and blurry image. As the output of xrandr shows, xorg is
trying to show the correct resolution but fails somehow. After a bit of
googling and some experimentation I found a working Modeline:

  xrandr --newmode "1920x1200_60.00" 154.000 1920 1968 2000 2080 1200 1203
  1209 1235 +hsync -vsync
