I confirm the bug on kubuntu 8.10 with kde 4.1.4. In order to have QtCurve remembered I had to manually modify the kdeglobals file changing qtcurve in QtCurve. Please fix the problem because this is just a workaround (every user which want to use QtCurve has to do that and the workaround must be repeated every time the style is changed using systemsettings).
