I've added a patched xulrunner package to my PPA where EXTEND_PAD is used for upscaling instead of nearest-neighbor (this is roughly what was suggested here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422179#c10). This might be a little slower because it's using a software fallback (if I understand comment 12 in the mozilla bugtracker correctly), but you'll only take that hit for images that are actually upscaled and those will look much better.
Packages are here: http://ppa.launchpad.net/thjaeger/ubuntu/pool/main/x/xulrunner-1.9/ You'll probably just need the xulrunner-1.9 and xulrunner-1.9-gnome-support packages. These are jaunty packages (so that people won't get them by accident), but they should work fine on intrepid. -- Images in Firefox and Opera are extremely pixeled when zoomed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217908 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
