Public bug reported: I'm using grub2, so there seems to be an incompatibility with the kernel uninstall script that means I need to switch back to grub 1 whenever I need to remove an old kernel. Also, the reason I needed to uninstall the old kernel was because the update-grub script was building the grub.cfg kernel list in the wrong order and loading on the of the older kernels by default.
