Public bug reported: I hope this isn't a feature (well if it is you should be able to choose the behaviour) - anyways I noticed that (from some Intreprid Alpha version on) the Volume Applet didn't close automatically anymore.
I was always too lazy to report this as a bug - but now I felt like it needed reporting.
