I've just committed an update to .desktop file in the upstream tree that should resolve all issues. I'm attaching a copy to this note. I added some Ubuntu packaging conveniences to it to make downstream less divergent. If something is still missing please tell me. I'll roll new package and upload it into Debian/Unstable, hopefully today, which will be based on the current svn code and contain the new .desktop file.
