Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dolphin
In Kubuntu 8.10, when browsing computers using "Remote Disk (fish)", if you try to open a Macintosh Computer that has presumed-illegal characters (in my case, the "#" character) in it's name, you may receive one or more of the following errors: - No hostname specified. - The host specified does not exist. - Zeroconf has unexpectedly quit. If you try to drag the computer to the "Places" Panel, Dolphin crashes with SIGABRT; crash dumps attached. ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- In Dolphin, when accessing a Mac OS X through "fish", problems can occur if the machine has presumably-illegal characters in it's name https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/321303 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
