@comment #3 No need to fill it because the link i gave [1] has 3 links on it to the issue [2] [3] [4] And there is a whole lot more if you search for it. Also in unix it "seems" to be the default action to paste text when you press the scrollwheel. I don't know who or how that was ever made up but i don't think that "standard" should be followed in firefox.
And one of ubuntu's goals is to have a seamless transition between Windows and Linux right? then this autoscroll should be set to true since that's the default for windows. (described here [5]) The idea is simple. A windows user that starts using Linux (ubuntu distribution) is gonna expect to have autoscroll when they press the mousewheel.
