also on my Acer Aspire 5670 with integrated Web cam (Orbicam) Ubuntu 8.10 latest Patch level (3 days ago) Blacklist the stuff help to use ubuntu and speedup the start up, but web cam not usable =( This bug also cost me hours during installation because hang on detecting HW and also during startup the liveCD /liveUSB stick.
