Public bug reported:

With the recent upstream commit, jockey -c does not run any more at each
session start, just if it has never run before (i. e.
/var/cache/jockey/check doesn't exist).

This should be replaced with something more dynamic which reacts to
hardware changes, lspci checksums, hotplug events, etc., and not tied to
autostart desktop files at all.
