This is the current OpenSUSE patch, which prefers the inline translations over the ones acquired with gettext(). In hindsight, this is a better approach, since it unbreaks local renaming of desktop files, and is probably more palatable for upstreaming. It is also in line with the recent similar change in gconf (bug 123025).
I'll port that over to Ubuntu and send it upstream. This also requires a change in our cdbs' langpack.mk, to strip out the translations from .desktop files. ** Attachment added: "OpenSUSE patch" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/21800583/glib2-fate300461-desktop-gettext.patch -- Gettext support for gkeyfile when accessing .desktop files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/3935 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
