lhz:  Yours is a different bug.  Please open a new one and include the
output from "dmesg", including the portions where ohci1394 and ieee1394
initialize the controller and from when the camcorder was plugged in/
switched on.

It's a hardware problem which can very certainly /not/ be fixed in
