Eh, it wouldn't dare to do anything with a corrupt file, would it? I thought, every package would be pgp signed. If it tries to touch a corrupt file, it's clearly a bug. Even a security related one. Also: Why wouldn't it tell me, that the file is corrupt and ask me to manually download the file? > and/or remove it and retry the install. How do I do that?
