I also am a member of the Linux Format ( www.linuxformat.co.uk - user=ollie) and have answered similar queries from new users being unable to continue installations. BIOS upgrades have always enabled the x64 installs to proceed. It is a strange, random bug that seems to be fixed if the BIOS is updated from those installed on motherboards built around 18 - 24 months ago. It may just be worth a small note in the installation "readme" that BIOS updates can fix x64 installation hangs. -- -- Regards, Steve .... _ ... (0)> ... / / \ .. / / . ) .. V_/_ Linux Powered!
