** Description changed:

  AFAIK computer BIOS flashing from within Ubuntu is presently impossible.
  If you want to use OSS for this, the easiest way would probably be this
  way: http://wiki.fdos.org/Installation/BootDiskCreateUSB. Ubuntu,
  however, does not include the package '"makebootfat", whereas SuSE Linux
  does (http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/ChangeLog). Would it
  be legal and possible to add "makebootfat" to Ubuntu 9.04?
+
+ Update: adding link to makebootfat project:
+ http://advancemame.sourceforge.net/boot-readme.html

** Changed in: ubuntu
   Importance: Undecided => Wishlist

** Summary changed:

- Can makebootfat be added to Ubuntu 9.04?
+ [needs-packaging] Can makebootfat be added to Ubuntu 9.04?
