prevu is a tool that automates backporting of packages from newer ubuntu versions to older. This is a strange policy I must say. First of all I haven't tested feisty at all - I would suppose it works because it has the newer plugin, but I can't guarantee 100%. The bug says h264 don't work on ppc dapper - how can it be considered fixed? anyone using ppc dapper still have that problem - not only that but you are implying the bug is not going to be fixed at all. (and by the way, I'm not even sure if fiesty will have ppc support eventually, which means the bug might be here to stay forever...)
