At this point, both the rf_kill *and* the power/state interfaces are obsolete, and AFAIK they're unused in the current kernels in Ubuntu 8.10 and beyond. I'm not sure if this bug is even still an issue, but I don't think there's any point in fixing it for Ubuntu 9.04.
