Public bug reported: In my just-installed Jaunty (all packages up to date as per apt-get), the new volume control applet doesn't respect the setting for which channels it should control--I have a master and LFE, and I'd like it to control both of them with the multimedia keys, but only master's volume changes when I use the multimedia keys (observed behavior via alsamixer).
Expected behavior: Master and LFE change if both are selected in the Preferences dialog that is selectable from a right mouse click on the volume applet's tray icon. Actual behavior: Only master changes, even after selecting LFE.
