I'm not a developer, I'm just triaging bug reports, so I think that I'd
be unable to extract useful information by means of looking at those
file!

I just want to understand if "update-manager" is the right package for
this report so that a developer can start to deal with your problem!
Honestly, I don't think that this is the appropriate place for your
report, maybe "Synaptic" is the best choice, since you set the username
and password for the proxy in Synaptic Package Manager -> Settings. For
this reason I'm going to move this report to "synaptic" package.

Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

** Changed in: synaptic (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: update-manager => synaptic
