Please make sure that you have the "intrepid-security" and "intrepid- updates" repositories enabled. The first 96* series driver that worked with the Intrepid Xorg was 96.43.09, which is available in the update repositories. The information above indicates you're still using 96.43.05.
The message you're reporting also indicates you're still using the default version of jockey which had the 96 and older series of drivers blacklisted. Again, the solution is to add in the updates repositories and make sure you're fully updated. Yes, when Intrepid went live, legacy drivers were not working, but this has been fixed and 8.10 is fully usable with the drivers in the main updates repositories. -- xubuntu 8.10 and dell c810 nv geforce 2go not working with any driver recommend staying with 8.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/291964 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
