Public bug reported: SharpPcap is a .net library that uses WinPcap and libpcap, depending on the platform, to capture and process packets. It is developed on both Windows and Linux and works under Mono.
There are a few other libraries that fill the same role but they don't appear as well developed and they aren't present in either Debian or Ubuntu repositories. Homepage: http://sharppcap.sf.net License: MPL 1.1 I'm one of the developers of this library and can be reached for help etc. The latest release is from 2007 but the svn version is much more up-to-date. If a new release is necessary for packaging I can do one whenever I get the word. I'm planning on releasing a new version soon but I can do whatever necessary to help with the packaging.
