My bad the error mesagge "Failed to retrieve share list from server" popup because i use a bookmark to conect to the other machine during the update the IP of the oder machine was changed. I change the IP and now everything is working perfect. NOW Totem IS ABLE to play files through smb. I guess this could help to understand what the problem was and fixed.
