The same problem here with Kubuntu 8.10. Suspend to Ram works quite fast (even faster than with 8.04), but after restart network-manager isn't able to connect to my wlan any longer.
Additionally kde warns about a problem with kbluetoothd and the bluetooth icon in the control bar disapears. Attached you find an excerpt of my syslog beginning right before suspending the machine and ending after network-managers failed attempt to connect to my wlan. Thank you guys for developing ubuntu! It's my favourite distro and I assume kde4 will be great when the current quirks are gone. For now I will probably switch back to 8.04, but I'm looking forward to Jaunty. ** Attachment added: "Syslog before suspend to ram and after failed wlan connection attempt." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/22383466/syslog_error_after_suspend -- No WLAN with RaLink after resume from standby or hibernation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298623 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
