I have a ASUS K8V-VM motherboard with onchip display card 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. K8M890CE/K8N890CE [Chrome 9] (rev 11)
The jaunty alpha 4 and alpha 3 Live CD (amd64) freezes with the same issues on start up. I havent tried the (x86) Live CD yet. -- Xorg freezes on start. Black screen with waiting cursor.
