Please try them in order: 242 242.1.1 242.1.2 242.1.3 242.1.4 243 244 Both usplash and libusplash0 debs for your architecture need to be installed. 242 is 0.5.27 and 244 is 0.5.28. I've personally been unable to reproduce this bug, so any feedback on which commit breaks graphics would go a long way to sorting out the origin of the problem.
