Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 8.10
I use fr_CA.UTF-8 and when I try to save file with utf-8 character in the name qcad doesn't show the right char, instead it show 2 sqares. rm $HOME/.qt/qcadrc Then when you start qcad, a configuration dialog appear. if you press OK then when saving the file you cannot use special character. if you press ESC instead of pressing OK, saving the file is working correctly. rm $HOME/.qt/qcadrc on the configuration dialog. select french for GUI and command language then press ENTER, when saving the file is correct. close qcad and reopen saving doesn't work correctly anymore. If you need anymore information, please ask i'll be glad to help. ** Affects: qcad (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: - I use fr_CA.UTF-8 and when i try to save file with utf-8 character in + On Ubuntu 8.10 + + I use fr_CA.UTF-8 and when I try to save file with utf-8 character in the name qcad doesn't show the right char, instead it show 2 sqares. rm $HOME/.qt/qcadrc Then when you start qcad, a configuration dialog appear. if you press OK then when saving the file you cannot use special character. if you press ESC instead of pressing OK, saving the file is working correctly. rm $HOME/.qt/qcadrc on the configuration dialog. - select french for GUI and cmdline then press ENTER, when saving the file is correct. close qcad and reopen saving doesn't work correctly anymore. + select french for GUI and command language then press ENTER, when saving the file is correct. close qcad and reopen saving doesn't work correctly anymore. + + If you need anymore information, please ask i'll be glad to help. -- Saving file with a special character like éêèà doesn't https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/327752 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
