Jaunty is in a state of near-constant flux at the moment because of package updates, and often you'll find that one package update will be available that conflicts with another. In this case, it's possible that the nvidia update conflicted with xorg, thus asking it to be removed. It's probably not best to run Jaunty if you're not prepared for these "growing pains", and you definitely have to be sure to review your updates to see what will be removed by updating items. -- Latest Xorg removes nvidia driver ... conflicting xserver-xorg-video-4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/308410 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
