The script has been proven to work, for me as well, but I'l like to see a module parameter for this. Something like
led=[transmit|assoc|radio|off] would do the job. Also it would be nice if the led would blink only after, say, 2KiB or 4KiB of data being transmitted/received. IMHO it's not necessary to have it blink in every single brodcast message received.
