It's very hard to replicate issues, furthermore because after the first day of "low-graphic mode" the system never asked me more. Anyway sometimes Kwin seems to crash (screen freeze, go black and reappear without effects and transparencies). Next time this happen I'll post the Xorg log.
But now a strange thing happens: before kdm start the screen show me the "fine red/violet checked screen" for a second. Login in Kwin work but every minute screen freeze (although mouse pointer work) and to get it working again I have to switch to a terminal (ctrl+alt+F1). Otherwise terminal is unusable: it show me the "fine red/violet checked screen". My Xorg.o.log is in attachment.
