i tried the jaunty i386 desktop, but suspend still doesn't work. I'm on a laptop by the way. after issuing a suspend, the PC don't go to suspended mode untill i press a key, after which the orange power LED will blink (that's how my laptop suspends). When i wake the PC up, it gets stuck with the blank screen, and the only way out is to power-off the PC.
