Problem still exists in 8.10. Tooltip reads: Current Workspace: "Workspace 1" regardless of which workspace is the current workspace, and regardless of which workspace the mouse is hovering over. Hovering over a workspace which has a window in it will (properly) read: Click to start dragging "[window title]".
