I'm really sorry. The correct information is: AGPMode needed: 1 Model: built by pieces. Host Bridge: [0600]: Intel Corporation 440BX/ZX/DX - 82443BX/ZX/DX Host bridge [8086:7190] (rev 03) Graphics Card: [0300]: ATI Technologies Inc R350 AH [Radeon 9800] [1002:4148] Card Subsystem: ATI Technologies Inc Device [1002:0002] HW changes: (Unknown) BIOS: 2X
If i put AGPMode to 2 or don't put the "Option", it freezes. Higher values are not probed. I'm not really sure, but i think it could be dangerous or not safe at all (it isn't?). 2009/2/18 MezclateBrother! <pruebob...@gmail.com> > Really was an AGP issue. > > AGPMode needed: 1 > Model: (Unknown) DELL notebook > Host Bridge: [8086,2570] 82865G/PE/P DRAM Controller/Host-Hub Interface > Graphics Card: [1002,4a4e] ATI Technologies Inc M18 JN [Radeon Mobility > 9800] > > Card Subsystem: [1028,5106] Dell: Unknown device 5106 > HW changes: (Unknown) > BIOS: (Unknown) > > > > My motherboard BIOS is switched to AGPMode 2X, but if i put 2 in Xorg > Device's Options or nothing > > > 2009/2/18 Tormod Volden (~offline till March) <bugpost.tor...@gmail.com> > > This is not a duplicate, since in the other bug there is a server crash >> with a backtrace in the log and the machine does not freeze. >> >> I am pretty sure this is an AGP issue.
