Sorry guys at least we have problem and solution though hey :)
The issue was the directory setting in intrepid ibex.
sudo chown -R root.root /lib/firmware/zd1211
sudo find /lib/firmware -type d -exec chmod 755 {} \;
sudo find /lib/firmware/zd1211 -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
That fixed the issue, may need to be checked for next build.
