Hi, I've the very same issue with my MSI Wind. I tryed those commands: sudo rm /etc/ussplash.conf sudo dpkg-reconfigure usplash
Before there was no file /etc/ussplash.conf , after there is no such file too. Notice the screen resolution on MSI Wind is 1024x600 too. Maybe this is where the issue is for all of us?
