I got hit by this bug also. It rendered my system unbootable. I had to boot 2.6.28-7, ctrl-alt-del during boot and comment out the line from /lib/udev/rules.d/60-persistent-storage.rules to get the system bootable again (still need to boot with 2.6.28-7 though).
