Me-too for the high CPU usage by udev 138-1. Downgrading udev to 137-1 and dmsetup to 1.02.27-3ubuntu2 there is normal CPU usage again. I have ext3 root filesystem on an LVM logical volume, home is mounted as eCryptFS.
