Do you still have this problem? I can't connect to a wpa network too ( Knetwork dosen't keep any configuration in expert configuration or certificate) ! Have you tried to connect with network-manager-gnome (using a live cd) or anything else? Kubuntu 8.10 Linksys WPC54G ver. 3.1 (Broadcom 4318 chipset)
