i tried installing kile from Jaunty
(kile_2.1~svn20090217-0ubuntu3_i386.deb) in Intrepid, but to no avail:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of kile:
kile depends on libqt4-dbus (>= 4.5.0~+rc1); however:

kile depends on libqt4-network (>= 4.5.0~+rc1); however:

kile depends on libqt4-svg (>= 4.5.0~+rc1); however:
Version of libqt4-svg on system is 4.4.3-0ubuntu1.2.
kile depends on libqt4-xml (>= 4.5.0~+rc1); however:
Version of libqt4-xml on system is 4.4.3-0ubuntu1.2.
kile depends on libqtcore4 (>= 4.5.0~+rc1); however:

There isn't by any chance a version that is not linked against Qt 4.5? I
would really love to see this issue fixed, but I'm afraid installing Qt
4.5 will cause even more trouble.
