i tried installing kile from Jaunty
(kile_2.1~svn20090217-0ubuntu3_i386.deb) in Intrepid, but to no avail:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of kile:

There isn't by any chance a version that is not linked against Qt 4.5? I
would really love to see this issue fixed, but I'm afraid installing Qt
4.5 will cause even more trouble.
