I tried the jackalope but it does'nt work

for information i tried with windows vista and it works : it is not a
hard material problem

i went to alsamixer in console mode and i tried different capture device  (mic, 
internal, line)
i but every sound volume  to maximum

i tried to register the sound with amsn gnome-sound-recorder

to answer julien furgerot  :Does the jack microphone work ?
i don't have a jack microphone so i can not test it
