Oops, I think I found another bug.
When I set the resolution of 640x480 and then set back the 1024x768, the gnome 
menus won't come back to their place.
The only way I could find to get the menus back to their right position is 
setting the higher resolution available (1360x768 here) and then setting back 
to 1024x768.
I'm attaching a screenshot to show you a sample. 
Should I report it as another bug?
