YoBoY: What I have submitted is not just "an idea to improve Ubuntu". It solves actual bugs and problems. I could as well have written "Openswan 2.4.x is bugged and outdated" in the title.
Daniel: It is probably better to wait past alpha 5 release to push this. This is the kind of package that requires some length of time for reviewing, testing and adjusting. I submitted the package to the Debian maintainers via e-mail, I did not file a bug there yet.
