Public bug reported: On my Dell Studio 17, resume from hibernate no longer works at all, using Jaunty (updating regularly).
Hibernate seems to work correctly, the machine powers off etc, but when I boot up, it just does a normal boot. I then get a pop up about a kernel error etc, info attached. The only additional thing is that I recently installed Ubuntu (Hardy, then upgraded to Intrepid) on another partition on the disk, which involved repartitioning. After the repartitioning, a new swap partition had been created for the new Ubuntu install, and my original swap partition had acquired a new device UUID. I had to manually update the /etc/fstab in my Jaunty install to reflect this change in order to get swap space back again.
