I have faced the same problem and Ubuntu asked me to send a report,
which I did. The cause of the problem was that despite hitting enter
several times in the terminal window, when the license was displayed,
nothing happened. It simply hung in there. It was after many retries
that I hit Ctrl+C. This is when I got the exact same error as mentioned
above.
