x: The folder is removed because /var/run is mounted tmpfs every time the system starts. This bug had affected other packages such as mrtg.
I attempted to create the /var/run/ez-ipupdate directory manually and then perform a /etc/init.d/ez-ipupdate start but am still getting the same error "x" is getting.
